Viewing Notes
A very unusual film, which I remember watching when I was a teenager. There’s an episodic quality as Lancaster goes from swimming pool to swimming pool and we learn something new about him each time.
It’s also a critique of upper-class suburbia, especially that which rose up in the 1950’s. Lancaster gives a superb performance.
