Viewing Notes

I think I saw this a dozen times at the theatre when it first came out. A total nostalgia watch for me. It’s an old-fashioned slapstick comedy with Sellers/Clouseau destroying everything he comes in contact with.

It probably doesn’t hold up as well after all these years, but it still gives me a good feeling. Maybe it’s the sunny locales of the Cote D’Azur and Morocco.

Christopher Plummer looks young and fit in his ‘70’s attire and Herbert Lom is just about the funniest thing in the movie. Well, him and the wonderful animated title sequence.
