Viewing Notes

One of those “inspirational” biopics, made on the cheap. The film transfer is terrible (I wonder if there’s a better print available).

It does a fairly good job covering Jackie Robinson’s path to the major leagues. Jackie plays himself, which makes this a valuable piece of history. There’s a lot of stiff acting from the cast, but Jackie does a decent job.
