Viewing Notes

A good, brisk, low budget noir. Charles McGraw, usually a supporting actor, gets the lead role here. He’s one of those actors who can easily play both good guys and bad guys.

Nice cinematography by noir master Nicholas Musuraca, and a cool climactic chase scene along the Los Angeles river aqueduct.
