Viewing Notes

A fairly entertaining melodrama centering on personal conflicts on an air force base. Also partly a propaganda piece introducing the new B-52 bomber. Shot in Cinemascope, it’s bright and colorful.

Natalie Wood gets top billing, even though she’s really a supporting actress The film is clearly centered on Karl Malden.
