Benson is a police detective. After a series of murders in the Gay community he is ordered to go undercover with a gay police clerk named Kerwin as his partner. In order to be noticed they have to be flamboyant enough to attract attention which Benson finds rather disturbing. Can an uptight heterosexual and a mousey homosexual form a meaningful relationship?

A completely irresponsible, sometimes genuinely offensive and totally unfunny trainwreck. O’Neal and Hurt both look mortified by their own involvement and the depths to which they are dragged in order to squeeze a laugh based on bad homosexual stereotypes show on their faces. It’s awful but worth checking out just to prove to yourself that it actually exists. Also, that tagline! “Benson is a cop who wants to clean up the streets…His partner just wants to redecorate.”
