Overview
Bill Meceita, a boy whose family was murdered in front of him by a gang, sets out 15 years later to exact revenge. On his journey, he finds himself continually sparring and occasionally cooperating with Ryan, a gunfighter on his own quest for vengeance, who knows more than he says about Bill’s tragedy.

Viewing Notes
Atmosphere and badassness-rich Spaghetti Westerns pits revenge motivations against one another to excellent dramatic effect. Van Cleef is completely and totally unsurprisingly a standout here but John Phillip Law holds his own whilst in the presence of the master. The “piano player, hit three notes” scene and the final final showdown are as good as anything that has ever graced the genre. Fantastic score (another non-shocker)!
