Viewing Notes

The Farrelly’s affection for these characters is evident in the careful reconstruction and minimal modernization of the trio’s classic shtick. The films works best when the 3 are together doing “their thing” though the attempt to construct a central story linking the 3 “episodes” is admirable even if it relies on a generic plot. There are a lot of laughs here and that’s a mark of success.
