Overview

With dreams of becoming a successful entrepreneur just like his beloved Richard Branson, Lemon bids farewell to his hometown of Leeds and heads for the capital. When he becomes an overnight billionaire, it seems everything is going his way, but it’s not long before he discovers that life can be just as cruel as it is kind.

Viewing Notes

How many words are there for penis or vagina? I dunno, how many words are in the script for KEITH LEMON: THE FILM? A numbing assault of horrendous double entendre and pixelated erections, this movie manages to squeeze out a couple funny jokes (as well as an appearance by Billy Ocean and a big role for super-hottie Kelly Brook) when it’s not being completely obnoxious.

The problem is Keith Lemon doesn’t appear to be a character at all, just a dude doing a voice (I think?) and spurting out whatever nasty nonsense is on his mind. Were he spoofing some recognizable stereotype it might be ever so slightly more tolerable.

Even though Hasselhoff is partly to blame by accepting a bit part here, I’m angry at the UK for this one. Even the during-the-credits blooper reel is a chore to get through.
