Viewing Notes
The first act of this film is something else. It starts of weird and dark, then lightens up when two goofy characters are introduced and then there’s a huge insane twist. And then…
And then it becomes a long string of scenes of a woman being humiliated. It’s not sensational enough to be shocking, it’s more consistently unsettling. Once one realizes it’s completely pointless, it just turns into a vile little piece of trash.
Still, seeing this movie (dubbed in English) is an experience few have had in the past 30 years and it is a piece of film history and I’m grateful to have had it, regardless of my reaction.
