Viewing Notes

I’ve never been a big Burt Reynolds fan but this movie is so damn good I’m thinking I need to watch more of his films before I rule him out completely (or even partially). I have a lot of favorite things about this movie but one of them that needs to be mentioned is how many of his friends and colleagues Sharky gets killed in his pursuit of a man who really is just guilty of having killing a couple overpriced hookers. I know that’s a simplification of his web of crime but it’s still sort of funny how much collateral damage there is in this movie. Also, why aren’t there 5,000 movies starring Bernie Casey?
