Viewing Notes

I decided to watch this for a laugh but people on the Twitter cautioned me that it is actually ... good. Turns out they were right. TRUST is a drama about the effects a young girl’s (Liana Liberato who was in the movie I watched just before this, TRESPASS) rape has on her family. I wasn’t prepared for just how dark the luring and raping was going to be and the family stuff is pulled off realistically by Clive Owen and Catherine Keener. I may have gotten a tear or two during a couple scenes. A solid little film.
