I wanted to dive into the Criterion special features for this so gave it a full, sit-down watch. The movie’s reputation precedes it but I do find a lot of stuff very funny in this movie. It’s absurd once you get past the shock of it all. Enjoyed the documentaries and interviews on the Criterion disc, very much worth watching. Next I’ll be reading the essays.
