Last House on the Left is a potentially interesting and tension filled tale of violence and revenge. Too bad this version draws out the relatively thin plot for far too long. There’s just not enough happening to justify a 110 minute movie.
Oddly enough with all the graphic violence and one particulary hard to watch scene, it never achieves the tension and feeling of dread I had while watching Bergmans ‘Virgin Spring’.
