I understand what the filmmakers were going for and the grandiose themes that they were going for with trying to explore the origins of AI, the definition of what a soul is, but the way that it plays out is just a bunch of nerds talking. It’s not at all compelling to watch and while the attention to detail regarding the time period specific aesthetics is nice, I could not enjoy this movie.
