Overview
When tech billionaire Slater King meets cocktail waitress Frida at his fundraising gala, he invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. But despite the epic setting, beautiful people, ever-flowing champagne, and late-night dance parties, Frida can sense that there’s something sinister hiding beneath the island’s lush façade.

Viewing Notes
Pretty full theater - definitely heard some people gasp and laugh during the movie - but overall, a super quiet crowd. I feel like Zoe Kravitz did a great job in her directorial debut. The film was really good - looked gorgeous, great color palette. Costumes were super fun and seemed to play a part in the storytelling. Interesting use of buzzing flies to indicate that something was wrong. Awesome to see Gina Davis in a great role.
