Bridget Jones is an average woman struggling against expectations. As a New Year’s resolution, Bridget decides to take control of her life, starting by keeping a diary in which she will always tell the complete truth. Her charming boss takes an interest in her, and she cannot stop running into a rather disagreeable acquaintance whom Bridget cannot help finding quietly attractive.

Run up to watching the new one. Haven’t watched this movie in years and I had forgotten how some of these scenes really make me cringe. Some good funny one-liners - “Tangerine-tinted buffoon” certainly rings a bell.
Always great to see scenes filmed in and around London.
Ooof - that flashback montage 1/2 way thru the movie is a waste of time.
Lots of characters in the movie remind me of Mike’s family in England. :)
