Overview

Hoping to bring his family closer together and to recreate his childhood vacation for his own kids, a grown up Rusty Griswold takes his wife and their two sons on a cross-country road trip to the coolest theme park in America, Walley World. Needless to say, things don’t go quite as planned.

Viewing Notes

A lot funnier than I thought it was going to be. Quite a bit of nods to the old Vacation films and I am a fan of Ed Helms and Skyler Gisondo. Yes, it has only 1-2 dumb moments and those awkward family pictures in the beginning were unnecessary in my opinion, but that doesn’t mean hearing Holiday Road with new instrumentals didn’t get me on my feet! I loved how they added a kind of remix to Buckingham’s Holiday Road. And Catherine Missal: she’s a babe. Recommended.
