Yakuza in fighting for the win!

Ever wonder what happens in a day in the life of a Yakuza leader? I think Outrage might be the movie for you if you have wondered what life is like for these gangsters. The movie plays to the strengths of Japanese honor and loyalty, and the sense of clearly defined castes.

Do you like double cross movies? How about triple crosses? I think I counted a penta-cross in there somewhere. Yeah, just when you think you have figured out who is stabbing who in the back (metaphorically, the Japanese have honor) another layer is added. This movie is like a delicious onion blossom where the leaders of the Yakuza are 5 steps ahead of the viewer.

Do you enjoy going to the dentist? Do you enjoy sticking your tongue out at a friend to sass them? Do you like car rides at the beach with the windows down? You might not want to like or do any of these things after seeing Outrage, as if going to the dentist was enjoyable before, imagine a drill in the hand of a Yakuza leader. Think you are going to be sassy to your friend? Think again, once the proverbial door is shut you will be speechless. You might lose your head once the ocean air hits your face in that nice Mercedes your friend is driving.

Outrage was a window into the lives of the Yakuza, lots of talking and lots of killing. That is just how I like it.
