Viewing Notes

2009 was a banner year for animated films it seems. I’m a huge fan of Up, really enjoyed Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs but also liked Monsters Vs Aliens. Its a good throwback to 50s style monster movies.

Not every joke works in MvA but everytime Seth Rogen’s Bob the Blob character opened his mouth it cracked me up. Loved the overblown character designs and the aliens versus monsters plot they came up with.

No big overwhelming message at work here other than finding yourself, but it’s a fun ride and worth the time to catch it. I’d even watch it again on cable if it poppped on.
