Overview
In the future, two television networks compete for ratings by producing violent game shows. One network produces a modern day version of the Roman gladiators, only on motorcycles instead of chariots, and uses convicted murderers as the participants, The network decides it needs a champion for this sport, so they frame a constant winner from another game for murder, and place him on the show.

Fulci takes a foray into science-fiction with a story that kicks the shit out of the Running Man. In the future two TV stations compete for ratings by making violent TV shows. The top show is a gladiator show where convicted murders do battle to the death in a gladiatorial arena on motorcycles.
The action work, stunts and gore in this is rock damn solid. So much fun and gory and just blew me out of the water. Wasn’t expecting it at all.
