Viewing Notes

The Snake follows a very confident womanizer loser who after being told that a chick he was successfully hitting on in a bar was chubby, by his friends, decides to pursue a young bulimic woman via her body image support group.

So by that description you can either be offended or see the humor in it. I saw the humor in The Snake and while the guy is a total douchesack, his overt confidence trying to pull one over on these poor women in the group while just trying to get laid by the bulemic girl, actually ends up making him sort of charming. All thanks to Adam Goldstein who plays “Ken”,a name he chose for himself because when girls are young they plan with Ken dolls and he wants to be associated with a man woman want.

The Snake is a good, slightly darker indie comedy with a decent supporting cast. I though there was a lot to like here and it was well worth the watch.
