Viewing Notes

The House on Sorority Row is claimed by many to be a classic. It’s not for me. Something about it just doesn’t deliver. I think it’s that the plot seems disjointed as does the entire flow of the movie. The old lady and the sorority sisters are okay enough, but I was little impressed with the build up on the kills and I was bored in parts.

It’s not a terrible movie by and means. I did like a few of the aftermaths of kills, like the one girl found decapitated. Plus you get some nice nudity, always good in slasher films.

I just wasn’t into the payoff and found the film to be kind of “meh” overall.
