Viewing Notes

I’m a big fan of Shane Meadows but I found this movie to be a pretty generic romantic comedy with hints of drama. I love the cast, since it includes Robert Carlyle and Rhys Ifans, but on the whole the plot was kind of lame and minus a few laughs at some scenes I ended up a little bored. This really wouldn’t be a Meadows film I’m be happy to recommend but maybe a good intro for the lady types who wouldn’t be into his more serious stuff like This is England or Dead Man’s Shoes.
