Viewing Notes

Had the pleasure of being a part of the Barren Austin birthday party for Brian “poodfoison” off Twitter. He rented out the Drafthouse and had a great clip show to kick things off with a bunch of great scenes from movies he likes (and coincidentally I like a lot too). Included that I can remember are: Predator, Rumble Fish, The Usual Suspects, Can’t Buy Me Love, Aliens, Lost in Translation, and more.

Afterwards we got to see Big Trouble in Little China on the big scene. I’m a gigantic John Carpenter fan and although I’ve seen this movie dozens of times I was thrilled to see it on the big screen since I never had the pleasure. It’s a fantastic movie. In fact I’d be hard pressed to think of anything about it I dislike, because I like it that much.

So thanks so much for the invite Brian and I had a blast!
