When the Hulk’s presence on Earth becomes too great a risk, the Illuminati trick him to board a shuttle destined for a planet where he will be able to live in peace, and launch it into space. The Hulk’s struggle to escape causes the shuttle to malfunction and crash land on the planet Sakaar, however, where he is sold into slavery and trained as a gladiator.

I love the Marvel animated flicks that have been coming out. I think they’ve done a great job. Given I’m not a huge comic book nerd but I know more than the average Joe. So somewhere in between. And likely my confusion with PH is due to that but I did enjoy it and thought it was even better than the Dr Strange flick they did.
I loved that we got a full on Hulk with no Banner involved. To me, I understand the juxtaposition but Banner tends to get a little on the whiney side. That’s why its great to have all Hulk in this.
Loved the battle scenes and although the plots is pretty much Gladiator having it kicked up to Hulk proportions is great. I was only confused by how cognizant Hulk was. I’m so used to him just breaking shit and yelling about smashing that having him converse with the other prisoners was a little off-putting. That’s likely just me not knowing enough about the universe there.
Oh and Beta Ray Bill was cool. I knew nothing about him but he’s a freaky mofo.
Very entertaining!
