Viewing Notes

I had been wanting to see Legion since I first saw the teaser posters with Paul Bettany with his angel wings and holding an uzi and some other pistol. Angels with guns? I’m in.

The movie went over like a rock, though. I can see why. Really, it’s not a great movie. There’s a million plotholes and Dennis Quaid seems to be dialing in his performance, probably because the script has the dialogue being pretty weak. That being said, I was still pretty entertained by the movie. I thought Bettany did a great job and the effects were decent.

Probably because I’m so into this angel battling plotline (also explored in one of my favorite TV shows, Supernatural), I give this movie a pass. Do I know why people hate it? Sure. Do I care? Nope. Legion was fun for me and I’d probably even watch it again once it hits cable and I’m flipping channels and see it on.
