Looking up about this film it was shot in 18 days, which is no surprise because it’s short, doesn’t have hardly and action and features very little in the way of changing locations. I found this to be pretty damn hilarious and why not? Look at the cast: hThomas Hayden Church, Rob Lowe, Jaime Kennedy, James Gunn, Sean Gunn, Jordan Ladd, Judy Greer, and Padget Brewster. They’re a bunch of misfit superheroes with mostly terrible superpowers, who are falling apart as a team. I thought the format, which blends between a reality show with interviews of individuals and scenes of them talking around tables or in a living room, work in favour of the film because it limits to just the funny script and delivery instead of depending on big action scenes, which is what it’s NOT about.
Anyways, it’s not Mystery Team, which is similar, but more like it’s ugly cousin you still wanna get with because you think it’s cute and your friends don’t.
