A British horror anthology that should be better but with 2 long drawn out first sections that sound better than they deliver: the first with an old man and his Punch and Judy puppets and a disapproving family and the second a couple moving into a house where the woman is seeing some terrible things. I did think the second story’s ending had a bit of a bite, but overall we spent 20 minutes watching a girl go up and down stairs.
The last, and actually most predictable story is redeemed with the appearance of a midget in a gnome outfit.
If that’s the best you can say about a film, then it’s really not great. It was fun making fun of it, though!
