Overview

Viewing Notes
What I like about movies like this is that they take a low budget and do the best they can to make something interesting. Elevated by a central character, Chauntal Lewis, this movie has a total feel of a 70s era cult horror flick. I’m pretty sure that’s what they were going for and it delivers. Starts off and ends with a bang and usually that’s all you’ll get with some first time movies, but there’s a nice buildup, use of music and supporting cast. I didn’t love The Commune, but it was surely worth watching and a diamond in the rough in horror movies.
