First off, it’s hilarious to see the classic Snyder slow-mo scenes in an animated film. However, they really added to the action, as otherwise it would of looked like a bunch of birds crashing into each other and we wouldn’t of gotten the cool claw-play going on.
Plot isn’t much to get into and it moves along quickly, which I assume has something to do with trying to fit a book into a limited screen time. But that being said, its still really entertaining and some of the scenes seemed to be pretty gorgeous. I wish I had watched this on the big screen or on Blu-Ray, as I’m sure it looks quite spectacular.
Not the best animated film of the year, but a worth addition to a solid 2010 animation lineup.
