Spheeris\\’ final look at subcultures and one that is far more depressing than the others. Kids, living on the street as gutter punks, abandoned by their parents and families, living a life of begging and getting fucked up. Lord knows we have plenty of these here in Austin and I\\‘ve seen them and dealt with them when I lived on campus. I feel bad for them but part of it is acceptance of living off the grid. The contrast of how together the bands are is interesting. It doesn\\‘t offer solutions but sure was a fascinating inside look to people you pass on the street.
