Overview
With his wife Elizabeth on life support after a boating accident, Hawaiian land baron Matt King takes his daughters on a trip from Oahu to Kauai to confront a young real estate broker, who was having an affair with Elizabeth before her misfortune.

I don’t get the hype behind this flick. Sure, people are good in the movie but it plucks such obvious heartstrings that I find it off putting. If it wasn’t for the funny bits and beautiful use of Hawaii as a location, this movie would be unbearable.
