Viewing Notes

This ended up being our New Year’s Eve/Morning movie, putting it on about 15-minutes after the ball dropped into 2014. I was honestly a little disappointed when my uncle hit play on this one (I was hoping we would watch The Heat instead), but once it started up, I was pleasantly surprised. I absolutely loved the first in this trilogy, but have heard nothing but negative things about the second one, so I avoided watching it. Even having skipped the second film, this third one stands up well. Instead of the guys waking up after a drunken night, they are instead trying to find Chow, who has pissed off some people yet again. It isn’t a comedy that I will remember late in the year, but I sure as hell enjoyed it. I like dumb humor and Zach Galifianakis (his and Ed Helms’ relationship has to be my favorite in the movie), hence, I really enjoyed The Hangover Part III.
