Solid action. Amateur action. This is what I expected from ACT OF VALOR, boasting “real life Navy SEALS” as the leads. What I wasn’t prepared for was the emotional poignancy that snuck up on me. Yes, this isn’t Oscar caliber acting, but there’s an honesty to everything about this film that really affected me.
These are real life badasses portrayed in a badass film. The action scenes are top notch and absolutely thrilling.
Worth a watch.
