Viewing Notes

Welcome to the worst STAR TREK (Original Cast) film. The “humor” of STAR TREK IV is here and it hasn’t gotten any funnier.

Call it STAR TREK: PROMETHEUS if you want. In this episode Spock’s half brother (huh?) who has full blown emotions and has a cult following, decides to hijack The Enterprise to find God.

In this movie Spock sings “Row Row Row Your Boat,” roasts marshmallows, Uhura does a strip tease, and Scotty takes on the Chris Farley role. Oh, and Klingons are involved but add nothing to the plot at all.

I kind of appreciate the philosophical attempt to the story, but I don’t think William Shatner was the right person to deliver this story.
