KILL LIST may suffer from being over-hyped by the Internet film buff community. I need to watch it again, but the first run through was a bit of a chore.
The plot seems to be the basic “one last job” for a hitman, but there’s something more diabolical beneath the surface.
Performances are great, plot starts out interesting. But things fall apart during the final act, and I had a huge problem with the generic “ominous music” used as the film’s score. I may write up a spoilery critique after my second viewing.
Worth a rental if your curious, but lower your expectations if you’ve heard people raving about it…
