Wow. Big is a highly underrated film. Brilliant performances from Ashley Judd, Michael Shannon and Harry Connick Jr. Solid direction from film master William Frieskin based on Tracy Letts stage play.
This may be one of the best stage play to film translations I’ve seen. Small in scope but Bug provides a huge visceral bang for it’s buck. The minimal sets and characters add to this movies most uncomfortable scenes. Worth watching.
