Viewing Notes
If you allow yourself to get sucked in, there are genuine scares in PARANORMAL ACTIVITY. Especially it you, like me, spend a lot of time alone and awake in a house while everyone sleeps.
Unfortunately, the movie goes on 5 minutes longer than it needs to. There is a perfect place to end, and it doesn’t. Instead, the filmmakers try to fit in one last scare and it simply doesn’t work and rings false.
All that said, when it scares…it scares big. Recommended if you liked the first. Looking forward to seeing the third.
