Wow. These movies are great!
THE CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1957) & THE REVENGE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1958) are probably the best example of sequels that work.
Peter Cushing is the perfect Dr. Frankenstein in these movies. I love his intelligence and manic energy.
If you haven’t seen these Hammer productions of Frankenstein, I urge you to check them out.
