Viewing Notes

I was indifferent to this flick when I saw it in the theater and have never felt the need to revisit. However, I picked up the Blu because I was on a Sci-Fi flick and the price was right for the “Riddick Trilogy” Blu.

The Director’s Cut and the stunning Blu Ray transfer really helped elevate this film. I actually really enjoyed it this time around!

RIDDICK us probably the most epic Sci-Fi we’ve seen in quite a while. It works better than the STAR WARS Prequels for sure. The story is a bit derivative, some performances are stale, but the scope and the world really elevate things.

I’d welcome another Riddick flick.
