Viewing Notes
Take the legend of The Loch Ness monster and cross it with ET and you basically have THE WATER HORSE.
It’s familiar, but it works. Seeing my kids’ faces as the story unfolds was classic. They fell in love with the creature from the start and became emotionally invested for the whole 2 hour runtime.
I think the digital creature effects are extremely well done and the willingness to allow the story to play out honestly, makes THE WATER HORSE head-and-shoulders above most modern family films.
