Overview

Against his father Odin’s will, The Mighty Thor - a powerful but arrogant warrior god - recklessly reignites an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Marvel Studios is on a role. THOR was the film I was worried about. However, with the casting of Chris Hemsworth as Thor and his awesome performance, I’m sold.

I loved this movie. It had a sense of adventure with a great sense of humor sprinkled in. The cast was solid and the story revolving around sibling rivalry was refreshing.

Good stuff. Hat tip to Kenneth Branagh for strong direction as well. I believe his Shakespeare background really help sell the drama with such a fantastical backdrop.

Can’t wait for THE AVENGERS!
