I wish I would have seen this as a kid. I think I would love it!
This STAR WARS/SAMURAI SEVEN mash up is an anomaly. A wonderful score by James Horner, fun old-school special effects, goofy acting and script, BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS is pretty amazing to watch.
Seeing this movie in such pristine condition on Blu Ray makes me wish we had the original cuts of STAR WARS on Blu Ray. Yeah, that will never happen. So, instead we have BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS in it’s unaltered, goofy glory.
