THE RUNDOWN should have launched Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s action career. Instead, his career went into a tailspin of mediocre action flicks and strange choices with kid’s movies. It’s a shame, because THE RUNDOWN is Dwayne Johnson’s best and most entertaining movie.
Directed (sans shakycam!) by Peter Berg it’s surprisingly funny with some great banter between Johnson and Seann William Scott. Christopher Walken does his best Christopher Walken impersonation and the action delivers on all fronts.
