Really, the only thing good about FASTER is that we finally see Dwayne Johnson in a badass role. Seriously, what has he been thinking with these kids movies? Since I saw THE RUNDOWN, I’ve been hoping Dwayne Johnson would be the next action star. Unfortunately, all we have had so far is Jason Statham.

So, FASTER, is kind of badass in brief moments. As a whole, though, it’s a bit of a disappointment. The story, while interesting, isn’t executed well and is a bit choppy. Plus, there’s a third character/story arch that really has nothing to do with the overall plot.

I’d suggest this one as a rental.
