Viewing Notes

It’s a shame that Michael J. Bassett’s awesome take on Robert E. Howard’s lesser known creation Solomon Kane isn’t available in the US. If you have a chance to see this flick DO IT. I got the Dutch Region Free Blu Ray and don’t regret it one bit.

James Purefoy (Rome) is PERFECT as Solomon Kane and actors like Max Von Sydow and Pete Postlethwaite also help elevate the material. I really love this movie.
