Overview

In 2019, Lincoln Six-Echo is a resident of a seemingly “Utopian” but contained facility. Like all of the inhabitants of this carefully-controlled environment, Lincoln hopes to be chosen to go to The Island — reportedly the last uncontaminated location on the planet. But Lincoln soon discovers that everything about his existence is a lie.

Viewing Notes

1/2 compelling Science Fiction the other 1/2 big dumb action flick. The Island shows that Michael Bay has a good filmmaker in him, it just gets over taken by his Frat Boy Id too often. The more I watch The Island, the more I love it and the more it becomes one of my genuinely favorite Michael Bay flicks along side The Rock and Armageddon.
