Viewing Notes

Let’s get this out of the way.  The poster for Conquest is amazing.  The movie is not.  It’s Lucio Fulci attempting the Sword & Sorcery genre and failing.  This makes for some unintentional comedy and great midnight viewing, but there are far better examples of this goofy 80s genre.  Also, the DVD transfer looks like the director smeared Vasoline all over the lens of the cameras used to film this film.  It’s a mess.  Watch Deathstalker and Barbarian Queen instead.
