Overview
A pair of smugglers manage to pick up a castaway while running from the authorities, who turns out to be the only survivor from a secret mission to destroy a mysterious superweapon designed by the evil Count Zartharn. The smugglers are soon recruited by the Emperor to complete the mission, as well as to rescue the Emperor’s son, who has gone missing.

Roger Corman brought this little gem to television in the USA. I’m so glad he did! I also wish I would have seen this as a kid, I think it would have been one of my favorites.
Starcrash has the scantily clad (no matter what situation) character of Stella Star, some great 70s hair, Christmas lights for stars, Christopher Plummer (!), and David Hasselhoff with a light saber. What’s not to love about all that!
